We call her little Gina, but her voice is anything but — you can hear it resonate across the mission. Her voice only matches her strong-willed and bold spirit, both on display at nightly devotions while singing her favorite songs. Gina believes in helping others. Gina has a sparkling personality and all the characteristics of a great leader. In her free time she likes to read and play the violin. She has a passion for acting and would like to be an actress when she is older. She is inspired when she watches movies at the mission. Her favorite subject in school is science.

Bright, inquisitive, and generous, Bettinie is often the first to share and help others, giving out snacks to hungry people on the street or sharing her own plate with whomever is near. She loves cooking and fashion. Her favorite subject in school is History because she likes to learn about things that happened a long time ago. Her favorite thing about the mission is that there are a lot of kids and there is always someone to talk to. You’ll always find her with a book in her hand and eager to learn.

Lorvens is a young leader, and like Spider-Man, about whom he loves to read, he’s beginning to learn that with great power comes great responsibility. As the nannies used to say, if trouble was stirring, you’d usually be able to find the bold and venturesome Lorvens in the mix. But he’s quickly growing and maturing, and even hopes to become pediatrician — or even a surgeon — so he can take special care of the babies at the malnutrition clinic where many of the students volunteer. With a silly and fun personality, he loves to make people smile. His favorite activities are drawing, playing soccer and hockey.
