Moise

Moise

Moise is Chika’s younger brother. He’s very active and athletic, loves to be silly, and is just very loving. And if there’s cake, you can count on Moise to dig in! He is a great soccer player. He loves to make people smile and laugh.

Gaelson

Gaelson

With the help of Espwa Berlancia, a malnutritional clinic where many of our kids volunteer, Gaelson has overcome severe malnutrition. He later received life-saving care for a previously untreated pulmonary infection through the assistance of a group of generous doctors and volunteers culminating in surgery at Children’s Hospital in Michigan. He was excited to be around children his own age and quickly made friends. He’s very silly and mischievous, and may just be our best dancer. Funny and outgoing, he loves to eat and is helpful with chores in the kitchen.

Manes

Manes

Manes joined the Mission in 2017. He’s a hilarious kid, and his joyful and loving personality is infectious. He’s also a great dancer and loves to sing during devotion. He’s quick to volunteer to help with different tasks around the Mission.

Knox

Knox

Knox arrived at the Mission in the summer of 2014, and his exuberant and determined spirit feels like part of the very fabric of the community. Despite his physical limitations due to a childhood accident, he is always optimistic and it’s rare to find him not sporting a smile or laughing infectiously. He likes to dance and draw. Funny and brave, Knox loves to eat and play sports.

Jimmyna

Jimmyna

Affectionate, mischievous, and theatrical, Jimmyna loves to dance, sing, and swim. She’s partial to pink and loves having stories read to her, and enjoys being tested by memory games, and learning as much as she can about her favorite animals. When she grows up she would like to be a singer, dancer, or a math teacher. She is currently taking ballet class on the weekends at the mission and hopes to learn hip hop next.
