Outgoing and personable, J.U. is an effervescent boy who takes on all challenges at blinding speed. He never gives up and truly cares about others. He wants to grow up to be a lawyer and an ambassador.

A voracious reader, Junie-Anna is the proud bookworm of the Mission. She enjoys studying science, especially classifying species within the animal kingdom. We hope her knowledge will be useful for a future career as a veterinarian. Junie Anna is also passionate about learning different languages, currently learning Portuguese and Hebrew. Her favorite subject is cultural geography.

Nickname: Apple Sauce

Appoloste is as sweet as his nickname. His joy is infectious; he loves to crack jokes and make others smile. He values one on one quiet time with the teachers and staff and always offers to help if it means spending quality time with them. His favorite subject is math and he has enjoyed learning about wood working this year. In his free time, he likes to play the piano. His favorite song to play is “Hit the Road Jack” by Ray Charles. Appoloste would like to become an engineer when he grows up.

Nicknames: Tete and Teh Teh

As bold as her favorite color—purple—Esterline loves to laugh, especially on her birthday. She is known for her big heart and compassionate nature around the Mission, as she is always willing to help others. She has a passion for music and dancing. Her favorite subjects in school are writing and journalism. Tete would like to be a physical therapist when she grows up “to help injured people get strong” again, or a traveling nurse or social worker, each a perfect blend of her love of sports and caring nature.

Nahoum is incredibly bright and responsible. He is passionate about art and music, and plays piano, guitar, and the recorder. Comparative religion and history are his favorite subjects in school.
