Danois

Birthday: April 13

Play the right music, and you’ll catch Danois busting a move—and really well at that. His lightness in the foot is also on display when he plays soccer, as he’s handily the best player at the Mission. He hopes to become a professional soccer player. He is currently learning how to play the bass. His favorite subjects are science and taxonomy.

Widley

Nickname: Eagle Man! (His superhero alterego)
Birthday: April 30

Widley is a happy-go-lucky aspiring actor, singer, and pianist. When he’s not singing in the Mission yard, he enjoys playing soccer and being a bit of a “nature boy,” as he loves to garden and learn about self-sustainable agriculture. He is passionate about the violin, playing tennis, and reading. A brilliant writer, his favorite subject in school is writing and literature. Widley’s dream is to be an ambassador for Haiti because he would like to help Haiti have a better image.

Jonathan

Nickname: J.J.
Birthday: April 6

J.J. is the boisterous entertainer of the Mission. He is motivated and strives for excellence in everything he does. He loves to read and play basketball. J.J. likes history, math and science, especially learning about oceans and marine animals, which are often the subjects of his drawings. In the future he would like to study business in college.

Charlotte

Birthday: April 17

A special needs member of the Mission family, Charlotte is considerate, generous, and sweet-tempered, as she always eager to run errands with the staff and help taking care of the children at the Mission. If she not with the nannies washing clothes or assisting Miss Lorraine in the kitchen making rice and vegetables (her favorite!), Charlotte is reading to the younger kids. She enjoys reading Oprah and Bon Appetit magazines, as well as watching any and all versions of Cinderella in her spare time. A devout Christian, Charlotte’s favorite part of the week is Sunday when she goes to Church.
